Where energy comes from? Why do we need green energy? What are the types of green energy? What is the impact of green energy on global environment? All these questions will be addressed in the course entitled "Green Energy for Global Society (GEGA1006-008)" that will focus on the topics intensively correlated with green energy and related energy materials as well as their impacts on our global environment.

Green energy comes from natural sources, e.g., sunlight, wind, rain, tides, plants, algae and geothermal heat, etc. These energy resources are renewable and can naturally replenished.

Green energy research has produced hundreds of promising new technologies that make human being largely reduce the traditional use of coal, oil and natural gas, etc. We hope, in the future, green energy can really replace fossil fuels in all major areas of use in our life.

You will learn the concepts and principles on Green Energy.
