This course begins with a discussion of the various genres of children's literature, the appreciation and creation of children's literature, and then examines the relationship among children's literature, life education, and subject-based/integrated learning. 
Through this course, students will read a wide range of children's literature works, study the writing skills of children's literature, enhance their appreciation of children's literature, and actually create children's literature. Furthermore, students will develop the ability to guide children in reading and writing children's literature, as well as to utilize children's literature works in teaching design.

The language of instruction for this course will be Mandarin, supplemented by English.

兒童文學主題包羅萬象,貼近兒童生活經驗與心理情感,並透過不同的創作形式展現:包括口語相傳的兒歌、童謠,文字性的童詩、童話、寓言、故事、散文、小說、知識性讀物,圖畫性、立體創作的繪本與動畫,以及戲劇、影視等,讓兒童體驗不同的語文應用形式。本課程先論兒童文學各類主題與體裁、兒童文學的欣賞與創作,再論兒童文學與生活教育、學科教學的關聯。經由本課程,學生將閱讀大量兒童文學作品、研究兒童文學的寫作技巧,增進對兒童文學的鑑賞能力,並且實際創作兒童文學。另一方面,學生也將具備指導兒童欣賞兒童文學作品、從事兒童文學創作,以及運用兒童文學作品進行主題教學的能力。
