The objective of this course is to introduce the financial planning process and apply some of the tools to formulate investment plans for managing, preserving and growing wealth across the client segments the high net-worth individuals. Upon successful completion of this course, students should be able to:

·       identify a wealth client's risk exposures and address the exposures with appropriate financial products;

·       formulate an investment policy statement (IPS) for a wealth client's financial goals;

·       construct a client's portfolio with goals-based asset allocation or alternative methods;

·       identify a wealthy client's behavioral biases and identify appropriate strategies to communicate with the client.
