This course provides the students with an overview of the important basic concepts, arguments, and positions in epistemology and metaphysics, as these concern the fundamental structure of reality and our knowledge of it. The course will focus on topics and themes that have been important in recent philosophical debates, as well as central problems inepistemology and metaphysics. Questions addressed include, but are not limited to: What is reality? Does reality exist? How do we come to know reality? What is knowledge? Is knowledge possible?
