This course gives an overview of financial decision-making processes where the desired outcome is the creation of wealth. Topics include the time value of money, how stocks and bonds are valued, how decisions to acquire or replace assets should be made, and how to measure and manage risk. Also, this course goes beyond Financial Accounting and focuses on the financial manager's role in the firm regarding issues such as Project Analysis and the Cost of Capital.
