This is an advanced course for PhD students focusing on the development of the students’ critical understanding of primary and secondary source texts in Philosophy and Religious Studies. This course aims at enhancing the students’ reading, oral, writing, research, and argumentation skills. Selection of specific topics and texts depends on the research field and area of expertise of the instructor. 

Topics may include: Publication procedures and venues in Philosophy and Religious Studies; various styles, formats, and presentation modes in Philosophy and Religious Studies; reading, analyzing, and critiquing texts on selected topics in Philosophy and Religious Studies.
