This course introduces the new strategies and methodologies as well as state of the art techniques for quality research and R&D of Chinese medicines. The integration of scientific, technological and managerial aspects is essential to address the global challenges in quality and compliance of Chinese medicines to national and international requirements. Strategies for quality control, new drug discovery and development including preclinical and clinical trial, and regulatory and commercialization of Chinese medicine will be discussed and explained.
