This course is organized with the following chapters: Introduction; Key Tool Skills; Mass Balance and Kinetics; Atmospheric Process; Climate Change; Carbon Dioxide Equilibria; Fates of Organic Compounds; Noise Control.

The course objectives include to help students: 1) Understand the environmental concepts related to inorganic and organic pollutants; 2) Identify environmental concerns in air, land, and water; 3) Understand the principles in both natural environments and in engineered treatment processes related to pollutant fate and transport; 4) Model environment processes in a quantitative approach.
