This is a graduate level course on public administration. Students without undergraduate training in public administration are advised to consult the course lecturer on further reading if they have any problems with the course materials and lectures. The course introduces students to the development of the discipline since the eighteenth century up to the present both in theory and practice. Students are expected to actively participate in in-class Q&A sessions and discussions, hand in tutorial assignments and group presentations as well as complete a final examination in order to satisfy the requirements for this course.
