This course is designed to help DFA students articulate their digital art and new media art projects through intensive studio practice and critical analysis. The curriculum is structured to directly support the conceptualization, development, and production of a significant new artwork or a cohesive body of work. Students will merge hands-on making with rigorous research, preparing them for their DFA practice-based research.
Each 3-hour session will be divided into two parts:
 1)    Seminar (Approx. 75 mins): Focused lecture, reading discussion, or theoretical exploration of the week's topic.
2)    Studio Workshop (Approx. 90 mins): Practical, hands-on studio time dedicated to the development of the semester-long project. This will include technical demos, peer critiques, and individual consultations.
